Dental health
In addition to our regular clinics, our Nurses are happy to discuss your pet’s dental health with you, and can recommend suitable products. These generally fall into the following categories:
- Veterinary Dental Gels. Not all pets will stand their teeth being brushed, but daily use of these products is the most effective way to treat and reduce plaque and tartar.
- Dental chews. There are several products on the market that are specially formulated to control plaque and tartar, such as Rask, Nylabones, Dental Kongs and rawhide chews.
- Diets. Special dry foods can massage the gums when chewed, helping to maintain good dental health.
