Out of hours emergencies

Unlike some veterinary practices, which use alternative premises or people for emergency cover, here at Burghley Veterinary Centre, in the case of an emergency out of hours, your pet will always be treated by our own staff at our own Stamford surgery.

We are on duty 24 hours a day, every day of the year, and should your pet need to be hospitalised, they will be cared for by our nursing team, who stay at the premises overnight.

Should you require emergency out of hours care, please call 01780 762109 in the first instance, where you will be given an emergency telephone number to call, to make arrangements to come to the Stamford surgery. We are not normally able to perform visits out of hours, as we believe that the best care is delivered at the surgery where all the right equipment is at hand. This also allows us to care for other pets that may need our help at the same time.
